Re: Idler gear
I will definitely be ordering the direct drive. Had a blast racing my s1v4 in the limited amount of races this last season, can't wait for the next season!

Re: Love the S1V4 buggy
I was getting harassed at the track that I only had black paint as two other rc's are pure black. Lol. I tried something different. Buggy body's are not easy to mask! Haha. I might try something more extreme for next season...

Re: My ride
I built mine with the stable setup as well. I ran amazing my first night too. You are right how this buggy is planted. It is such a fun rc to drive.
Love the paint from your buddy as well, looks nicer than mine!

Idler gear
The S1V4 comes with two idler gear options. Plastic says stock and the aluminum says modify.
What are the advantages/disadvantages from one to another besides strength. There must be a reason they included both.

Love the S1V4 buggy

I set this kit up using the stable setup for this season just to learn since this is my first year racing and first 1/10th buggy I've ever had. I threw on some Pro-line Hexon rears and Wedge fronts for carpet racing, pro-tek 100T servo an...

Re: Just purchased V4R for the upcoming season
I just raced mine for the first time on Saturday at our small track. It took first and second invtwo heat races and fourth in the main. It handles beautifully I thought.
